So, on March 11 2022 Black Magic, my first released song ever, was launched on Spotify.
I celebrated with my friends over the phone and (after a day of working my nine to five - yes, I have one of those) had some cake at the end of the day. A nice reward for my hard work.

To be honest, I had not expected to still have to work so hard on getting the word out, on the day itself. It sort of surprised me that day. By the end of which I felt mentally exhausted... satisfied, but exhausted.
Came to realize later on, I had put the word out everywhere, but here. Goodness, that would be so me.
I need a social media manager. Really.

Now here I am. Blogging about it 10 days later... How much I still have to learn.

I like to deconstruct. 
What lies beneath the structures of society, our structural thinking... even up to the structure of our hair? 
Maybe I sound unconventional and that is exactly the point.
How else are we going to break down structures then to make a different sound?
So this deconstruction exists in the following analysis.

Hair is different things to different people.
I devide it into 4 sections: 

1 Hair as a natural thing 
2 Hair as a personal thing 
3 Hair as cultural thing 
4 As a concept tied up to a misconception of society 

1. Hair: A natural thing. Meaning: The fact that the structure, the colour, the amount of hair you have and even where or weather it grows at all, is in principal determined by the information your genes carry. Hair: plain, pure and simple genetics. 

2. Hair: A personal thing. Meaning: The ability of hair (or the absence of it) to communicate a story. A personal story. Whether that be intentional showcasing as in personal style, fashion or social statement. Or unintentional disclosure, like personal circumstances. Hair: The cover of your book.v 

3. Hair: A cultural thing. Meaning: Over time hair has become an object submitted to the ideas, customs and social behaviour of a particular people or society. This explanation comes close to the motivation of hair as a personal thing. Only this time it setves the purpose of a community and tradition is the main drive. Hair: Evoking a sense of belonging to a particular culture. 

4. Hair: A concept tied up to a misconception of society. Meaning: It being the foundation of a tacid validation system, designed to determine someone's worth, - someone's position in society -, by differentiating between hairtype, hair style and even hair colour. Often resulting into false benchmarks, discrimination, judgement, prejudice and stereotyping. Hair: A validation instrument - A misconception of society.

Hi Guys,

So after the last time I posted on my website, I paused. The world was closing off and somehow, I was too.

It doesn't mean I stopped all together. In fact, I went on making songs for a concept that I had and I started "perfecting" the songs that were already made. Then I had to find someone to help lift all of this to a higher level, by mixing and mastering the tracks, since I had made everything in a... let's say, 'unconventional' manner.
Luckilly I found just the right guy for the job (Teejay Studio in The Netherlands) and we started a long process of leveling everything up.

And now I am finally here. In just a few days my first release will be fact!
I'm so excited about this and if you are too, keep an eye on my blog. I'll tell you more about the songs I have been working on.
